Hello, I am Hedwig, working with art, all my live, did nothing else :) I am a painter in every material and I make sculptures too.
I love to make these videos, so you can see and maby learn from it, how I do things.
I like variety, including all sizes, I use every piece of watercolor paper no matter how big or small it is, be careful with paper :)
You can make a beautiful piece of art on anything, it is very relaxing when you are painting and the rest of the world no longer exists, you are so immersed in your work that you have no time to think about other things.
By taking your time and enjoying the process, you'll soon discover the joy and beauty of watercolor painting.

What do you mean by negative painting? My teacher has never mentioned….☹️😞❓⁉️
Negative painting is a technique where you focus on the shapes around your subject rather than the subject itself. It can really enhance your artwork by creating interesting contrasts!

How did you do the background? I’m a beginner, what brush did you use to lift the stems?
The brand is Eico, nr 6, did buy it at Amazone, but of you have a small brusch that is hard enough you can use that too, it goes with every brush, hope it helps, good luck :)
